We constructed a barrel roof, curved
walkway, complete with vertical glazing and
an area for the employees to have a break
without being visible to their visitors. We
used a 75mm x 75mm aluminium post, the
barrel shaped roof was constructed of a
60mm x 30mm rolled aluminium box
section, with 10mm clear GE Thermoclear
polycarbonate multiwall sheet and Twinfix
226 aluminium glazing bars.
The external vertical glazing was
constructed of Lexan polycarbonate sheet
with Twinfix 226/227 glazing bars; the
smoke screen is 25mm opal Thermoclear.
All of the aluminium was in a white
polyester powder coated finish to give a
nice clean finish.
The whole structure was cut to size and
constructed on site, this allows us to offer a
quicker turn around from date of order and
deal with any last minute site differences,
which can sometimes cause problems when
fitting factory made structures.
