A large national retailer was using steel
canopies on the rear of their buildings as a storage area; they had been using steel
structures with corrugated plastic roof sheets.
The design we agreed on is a mill finish
aluminium box section which can be
constructed on site, this allows for any level
discrepancies and obstructions which may
occur in the construction process, which
causes problems with factory made systems.
The roof system consists of a two part
aluminium glazing bar with 16mm clear
polycarbonate roof sheets, using mill finish
aluminium cuts out the maintenance issues
of steel, but also allows for the system to
be polyester powder coated to any colour if required.
