The school wanted a large high canopy over-sailing the flat roof of the classroom, which would allow the nursery children to play outside all year whatever the weather conditions. They also wanted as much natural light as possible. The structure was fabricated from PPC steel and glazed with 25mm bronze multiwall on the roof and the vertical cladding. We also fitted PPC electric perforated aluminium roller shutters to provide security for the play equipment and to allow ventilation whilst still allowing a view outside.
